I used this pad on quarter horses, saddlebreds, arabians, half arabians, and a mule.

Likes: 
High quality materials and construction.

Completely open wither design eliminates pressure and interference by the pad at the withers.

Leg cutouts allow legs to lie closer to horse for comfort and feel.

Simple construction without gimmicks that do not work.

Dislikes:
None.

Conclusion:
This pad in the correct size and thickness matched with a properly fitting saddle will definitely perform as described and at a very reasonable price.
